A future built around the company, not the exit.
The value of a long-term owner is measured after the transaction, in the decisions made for customers, products, people and growth.
A permanent home for exceptional software companies.
Permanent ownership is built into the model
Boson is designed to acquire and support software businesses over the long term.
We are not a private equity fund, and our model is not organized around preparing companies for another sale. That distinction allows decisions to be made for the long-term health of the company rather than against a future exit deadline.
Operational independence where it matters
Strong software companies stay close to their markets.
Our starting principle is to preserve the decision-making, customer knowledge and product expertise that made the company successful. New ownership brings governance, reporting and agreed decision rights. It should not create unnecessary distance between the company and the customers it serves.
Continuity of leadership and knowledge
We invest in businesses because of the people, capabilities and market knowledge already inside them.
Where leaders want to continue, we support continuity. Where an owner plans to step back, succession is discussed openly and planned before completion.
Support without unnecessary centralization
Portfolio companies can draw on broader capabilities, capital and operating experience where useful.
Support is intended to strengthen the company, not standardize away the qualities that made it valuable.
Credibility at three levels
Boson Group operates within Andromeda, an operating group of Constellation Software Inc. Each level contributes something different to an owner considering a sale.
Constellation Software Inc.
The listed parent provides a long-established global record of acquiring and supporting vertical market software companies.
Andromeda
The operating group brings an established permanent-ownership platform and a network of software businesses and leaders.
Boson Group
Boson brings focused regional understanding, direct senior engagement and a clear proposition for owners seeking a responsible long-term home.
Regional understanding is an operating advantage
Our roots are in Pakistan, where the wider organization has built substantial software operations and capability. That experience gives Boson practical understanding of talent, customers, ownership structures and business realities in markets that are often approached through a distant or standardized lens.
Our geographic reach is defined by where we can build informed relationships and support companies responsibly.
Transactions are not completed by financial models alone.

Owners who sold, and stayed
The part of a transaction an owner cannot verify in advance is what happens in the years afterward. These are people who sold a software business into the wider group and carried on running it.

Thinking about succession?
The beginning does not need to feel like a process.
You do not need to have decided to sell. You do not need a data room. You do not need to present the business to us. An initial conversation is simply a way to understand whether our long-term approach matches what you want for the company.
